Ausgehend von der Uhr des früheren Amtshauses, als Symbol für die Geschichte des Gebäudes, wird Zeit als Thema für die künstlerische Gestaltung gewählt. Unterschiedliche, vor allem digitale Uhrzeiten überlagern sich und umgeben an der Wand des Foyers, wie eine Wolke aus Zeit, die historische Uhr. Dieses Motiv wird weiter abstrahiert, es entstehen Formen, die auch als Neuinterpretation historischer Geländer gesehen werden können. Die gewohnte Regelmäßigkeit und Symmetrie wird jedoch aufgebrochen und die Produktion erfolgt mit heutigen Methoden. Die Geländer der Treppen und der hofseitigen Balkone werden als bedrucktes VSG Glas ausgeführt, die straßenseitigen Geländer aus Laser geschnittenem Stahl.

Using the old clock in the foyer of this former district town hall as a symbol of the building’s history, time is the theme that inspired the artistic design. Different representations of times, displayed digitally and traditionally, are superimposed and surround the historical clock, like a cloud of time. This pattern becomes further abstracted, creating forms that remind us of historical railings. The expected regularity and symmetry however is dismantled and the new elements are produced using contemporary methods. The railings of the stairs and the balconies on the courtyard side are printed on laminated safety glass, while those on the street side are made of laser-cut steel.
